Meliae is a top-down bullet hell game. The player takes on the role of an awakened spirit, one of the last surviving spirits of a forest that is being destroyed through deforestation. The soul of the forest is weak, dying, and needs help to grow strong and fight back.
Enemy design
One of my tasks in this project was to design 4 different enemies.  They all refer to deforestation and have different jobs around a deforestation site.
Sprayer - marks trees ready to cut, patrols the site, has a gun for attack.
Carrier - grabs smaller branches and collects them, if it detects danger, it will throw logs at it.
Heavy - grabs and cuts down trees, has two guns if any interference was to occur.
Mini Boss - pick up big logs and put them in neat piles. 

Choices were made based on testing with target audience and communicating with the team.

Main character staff
I designed a weapon for the main character. It has a magic crystal that blasts magic orbs, is fairly simple, made from one branch.
